I just wanted to say that I found your site via Goolge and I am glad I did. Keep up the good work and I will make sure to bookmark you for when I have more free time away from the books. Thanks again!

Hiya stelt, sorry you got trapped in my spam filter.

Can you expand on this javascript drop-in? I'll search around for it later, but if you have a good link, please do share.

I've seen some mention of conversion to a flat image, but where does that leave you with links and javascript interactions?

I just think it's a shame that something as... well... elegant as SVG has to suffer under IE. In my brief fiddling, even once I got a plugin installed, I ran into header issues because of it being within a PHP document. At least, that's what I currently think it is.

The big point, however, is that IE renders SVG unsuitable for any primary content page. People that hit that page without the plugin are not especially likely to go through the trouble unless they are really interested in what you're doing. If javascript can make this workable, then hooray, but IE clinging to it's wacky VML business while literally every other "major" browser and at least a few small browsers render SVG content is obnoxious.

Not entirely true:
- You can use a JavaScript drop-in instead of a plug-in
- You can still download the Adobe SVG Viewer and don't expect that to change soon
- There are a couple of other SVG plug-ins
- You can convert it server-side

While all these options improve, IE marketshare keeps shrinking

A selection of SVG use at http://svg.startpagina.nl
And as SVG Open is this year hosted at Google, expect much more.

On the off chance "muay thai shorts" there isn't just spam, I've approved it. At least it's a link to a fairly attractive website and not just some link farm.

Anyway, shorts, the rss feed for my blog is http://risingphoenixgroup.com/rpgblog/feed/ . As to the exact process of feeding that to your reader, well, it'll depend on the reader, but typically you click something like Add Feed and put that link in.

Oh yeah? I'll have to do that. This series of short stories, and story fragments, has been quite fun so far.
