I didn't mean to indicate you were affiliated with them, sorry if it comes across that way, just that you obviously use some very large frameworks that, in my experience, rarely work out very well in the long run, at least without a lot of tweaking.

Anyway, it's still broken. Unless you intend for it to look this way, which I doubt a lot since it's an attractive site overall. Screenshots forthcoming. At the time I wrote this, I was using Firefox 2, and now I'm using 3 beta 5.

Hi Fargo,

Thanks for your concern. I think the problem is with older versions of Firefox. I have not fixed it, partly due to time and partly as it works with popular up to date browsers (IE 7, Safari 3, Firefox 2/3). I have tested on Mac, Windows, iPhone. However I know there was an issue with one of the menu items wrapping around with Firefox 1 which I can't replicate. I would be grateful of a screenshot if you have the time. However I would not class this as "heinously broken".

Unfortunately I do not have the time to support legacy technologies on my site due to workload.

Please could I also clarify that I am not affiliated to Adobe in any way other than I specialise in Adobe Flex development.

Regards,

Jon

Haha! Nah, I just read way too much. Snow Crash held some interesting ideas, but almost none of them were computer related, and the ideas that were interesting were either tossed out stillborn or inexplicably aborted a short ways in. Then there's the feel of a missing chapter, where suddenly Protagonist knows everything about the viral language, and goes about some incredibly bald exposition while riding his motorcycle.

The virtual world stuff was just plain boring. I know it was written during the earlier years of modern home computing, but it just struck me as the way someone who wrote a macro for Word, or, more likely in his case ClarisWorks, would imagine the pinnacle of a virtual experience.

It might have been less crappy if he wasn't also collaborating with someone to try and make a rich media interactive whizamagig to release with it, but people with ADD should still be told their book sucks, and maybe their prescription needs adjustment.

Also recall that I specifically purchased an ATI motherboard for the other camera box, as when I contacted them then, they said only VIA chipsets were unsupported, and ATI would be fine.
